Abstract: | Continuing with the research carried out by various specialists on the butterfly and moth fauna of Portugal in places of special interest from the point of view of butterfly biodiversity, we here present new data about the distribution and ecology of some species which are poorly known in Portugal and whose southern distribution boundary may not extend very far beyond these two areas object of study. Finally, we also present 6 species as new for the Portuguese fauna: Pyrgus serratulae (Ram- bur, 1839) (Hesperidae), Agrotis clavis (Hufnagel, 1766), Leucania comma (Linnaeus, 1761), Athetis pallustris (Hübner, [1808]) (Noctuidae), Idaea luteolaria (Constant, 1863) (Geometridae) and Pyrausta nigrata (Scopoli, 1763) (Pyralidae) |
